Larry concentrates his practice on the resolution of personal, family and commercial disputes. He has broad and varied experience appearing in all courts within the Commonwealth. Larry’s clients range from individuals in the family law and probate settings, including divorce matters and will contests, to small businesses (including other law firms and their members seeking resolution of internal disputes), and corporate clients, insurance companies to telecommunications based organizations. When the situation requires, Larry tries his client’s cases in the Probate and Family Court, the state’s District and Superior Courts, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He has also handled appeals before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Larry is a member of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations.
Recently, Larry obtained a multi-million dollar settlement on behalf of an adult beneficiary of a family trust in a hard-fought case in Superior Court. Larry was successor counsel to a large downtown law firm that was unable to move the case to a resolution, either by settlement or trial, and he was able to negotiate a favorable settlement. In order to implement the settlement, he brought a separate proceeding in the Probate Court to reform the trust and have the terms of the settlement approved by the court.
Larry holds an AV rating with Martindale Hubble, the highest lawyer ranking attainable for its member attorneys.
